CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM NOTICE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, street address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask for a copy of your driver's license or other identifying documents.* Failure to provide any required information may result in a delay in processing your application or subsequent transactions, or result in the closing of your account.
NOTE: If you buy shares by check which are subsequently sold by Seligman because we are unable to verify your information, Seligman will not send the proceeds until your check clears, which can take up to 15 calendar days from the date of purchase.
Based on SDC policies and procedures, each entity with a non-US address shall be considered a Foreign Financial Institution until such time as the AML Officer or the Prevention Unit has determined that that entity is not a Foreign Financial Institution.
Foreign Bank: Any organization that: (i) is organized under the laws of a foreign country; (ii) engages in the business of banking; (iii) is recognized as a bank by the bank supervisory or monetary authority of the country of its organization or principal banking operations; and (iv) receives deposits in the regular course of its business.
Foreign Financial Institution: Means a foreign bank and any other person organized under foreign law (other than a branch or office of such person in the United States) which, if organized in the United States, would be required to establish an anti-money laundering program (e.g., brokers and mutual funds).

Distribution Options Dividends and capital gains may be reinvested at net asset value (at no charge), or paid in cash to you or directly to another party.
Averaging Share Cost Seligman Invest-A-Check® service is a periodic investment plan that allows you to authorize checks to be drawn from your checking account at regular intervals to purchase Fund shares - a convenient way for you to dollar-cost average. You may also dollar-cost average by authorizing periodic exchanges from your Seligman Cash Management Fund account. Dollar-cost averaging is a method of lowering the average price of your shares over time; it does not, however, assure a profit nor protect against a loss in value. Minimums apply.
Automatic Cash Withdrawals You may receive payments at regular intervals from your Seligman Mutual Fund account. Payments may be made to you, or to anyone you designate. Minimums apply.
Telephone Services As a Seligman shareholder, you can authorize the following account transactions by telephone: Redemptions of up to $50,000, Exchanges, Address Changes, and Dividend and/or Capital Gain Distribution Option Changes.
Shareholder Account Statements In addition to confirmation statements, which are sent to you following any transaction that affects your share balance, Seligman provides a quarterly consolidated statement if you own more than one Seligman Mutual Fund. In addition, Seligman also provides yearly cost basis statements for qualifying non-retirement accounts in which shares are sold or exchanged.
Shareholder Reports On the Funds you own, you are sent annual and semi-annual reports that include discussions of Fund performance, portfolio activity and holdings, and investment strategy.
Free Checkwriting Privileges Checkwriting is available on Seligman Income Fund, Seligman High-Yield Fund, the Seligman Municipal Funds, and Seligman U.S. Government Securities Fund, for accounts valued at $25,000 or more, and on Seligman Cash Management Fund accounts valued at $2,000 or more.
